Modular Makeup System — Concept Design

This project explores the intersection between cosmetic design, modularity and contemporary product architecture. Conceived as a premium makeup system, the object is both a functional tool and a carefully engineered design statement.
The core of the proposal is a layered, interchangeable palette system organized by category — face, eyes and lips — allowing intuitive access and flexible customization. Each chromatic module is visually structured through a geometric grid, reinforcing clarity, hierarchy and balance. The stacked configuration emphasizes order while maintaining a compact, elegant footprint.
The main structure combines brushed metal surfaces with a deep red body, creating a dialogue between precision and warmth. The reflective inner lid integrates a mirror framed within a rigid architectural panel, transforming the object into a self-contained workstation. A magnetic locking mechanism ensures seamless closure, preserving the minimalist exterior form.
A dedicated lateral drawer houses applicators and tools, reinforcing the idea of a complete, portable studio. The internal organization reflects a design philosophy based on usability, ergonomics and visual coherence.
More than a cosmetic case, this concept proposes a modular beauty system — adaptable, structured and materially expressive. It balances industrial clarity with chromatic vibrancy, presenting makeup not merely as product, but as curated composition.
